Ness Turf Equipment, a new subsidiary of leading large equipment dealer Hawthorne Cat, is launching operations in Hawaii with its first-ever retail location.
Ness Turf Equipment will offer a comprehensive selection of commercial and residential agriculture and landscaping products at its new stand-alone location in Oahu’s Campbell Industrial Park, as well as at Hawthorne Cat locations throughout Hawaii, Guam and Saipan. Products will span nearly a dozen major brands, including: Toro, eXmark, Club Car, Morbark, and Land Pride, covering care for golf courses, sports fields, green spaces, and agricultural fields.
“Ness Turf Equipment allows us to expand Hawthorne Cat’s existing turf operations, bringing a greater selection of high-quality landscaping products to Hawaii,” said Leonard Smith, general manager of Ness Turf Equipment. “The state’s year-round growing climate, green spaces and focus on agriculture make it an ideal place to increase our focus on this segment of our operations.”
The Ness Turf Equipment brand continues a nearly 50-year history of turf equipment sales and service in Hawaii, with roots dating back to the founding of Inter Island Equipment in 1965. Ness Turf Equipment sales and technician team members hold top industry certifications and have received nationwide honors such as the prestigious Toro Green Blazer award for sales excellence. The Oahu Ness Turf Equipment location has dedicated employees spanning retail, parts, sales and service. It is located at 91-220 Kalaeloa Blvd. Kapolei, HI 96707. A grand-opening celebration will be held March 28, 2013, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
